Panagiotis Pasias is a Civil – Transportation Engineer and a PhD Candidate in the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since 2019 he holds a Civil Engineering Diploma from NTUA majoring in Transportation Engineering. He speaks Greek (mother tongue) and English (fluently).
After obtaining his Civil Engineering Diploma, he was involved as a civil engineer in the road construction sector and has participated in various projects. Since early 2022, he has been working as a Civil Design Engineer in one of the largest international multidisciplinary engineering firms.
Since November 2020, he has been preparing his Doctoral Thesis entitled “Investigation of safety and functionality of merging autonomous and conventional vehicles on expressways through interchange ramps”, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Mr. Stergios Mavromatis.
