Alexandra Vasileiadou

Alexandra Vassiliadou is a PhD Candidate and Research Associate in the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since 2021 she hold a MSc Diploma in Transportation Engineering of he School of Rural and Surveying Engineering of the Aristotle University Thessaloniki. She has been working on the study of sustainable urban mobility issues in the transportatin sector and in particular on the management and implementation of public transport projects. In addition, she has worked on special spatial planning projects under the perspective of transportation engineering.

She is currently working on her PhD thesis entitled: “Optimization of electric and interconnected bus fleet routing using Artificial Intelligence” under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Konstantinos Gkiotsalitis.
