Athanasios (Akis) Theofilatos is a Research Associate at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens.
In 2009 he graduated from the School of Civil Engineering at the NTUA after having followed the option of Transportation Engineering.
In 2010, he obtained a Masters degree in Transport jointly by Imperial College London and University College London.
In 2015 he obtained his PhD at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering in the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA in the field of road safety.
He has participated in 7 research projects, he has attended various conferences and he has published 1 Diploma Thesis, 1 Master Thesis, 9 journal papers and 14 conference papers. In these papers various citations were made so far in Google Scholar (h-index=5, i10index=4) and in Scopus (h-index=4, i10index=2).
