Maria Saloniti student of the School of Civil Engineering awarded with “Apostolos Chr. Yotis” Award, December 2022

Maria Saloniti student of the School of Civil Engineering NTUA, has been awarded with “Apostolos Chr. Yotis” Award, for the highest average of all courses of the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering in relation to her fellow student with whom she equaled (9.33) in the mandatory courses “Roads Geometric Design” (5th semester), “Roads Construction” (6th semester) and at the mandatory of cycle course “Design of Road and Airfield Pavements” (7th semester), during the academic year 2021-2022.

Dr. Greg Erhardt Associate Professor at University of Kentuky, gave a lecture  which took place with great success on Monday, November 28th 2022 at the Amphitheater of Railways and Transport of the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of NTUA , entitled “Using Big Data to Measure the Effect of Ride-Hailing on Transit Ridership, Traffic Congestion and Traffic Safety”. Prof. George Yannis receives the EU TRAVisions 2022 Senior Researcher Award, November 2022

NTUA Professor George Yannis has received the prestigious EU TRAVisions 2022 Senior Researcher Award during the European Commission Transport Research Arena Conference (TRA 2022), held on 14-17 November 2022 in Lisbon. Professor  George Yannis won the competition of EU Senior Researcher for Road Transport Research based on his exceptional and long-standing research contribution on Open Road Safety Decision Support Systems.

The Research Infrastructure EN.I.R.R.I.S.T. successfully organized ENARISTEIA 2022, a three-day event that took place from 24 to 26 October 2022 at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens.
