Diploma Theses Exams, March 2023

The examination of the Diploma Theses of the undergraduate students of the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering for the examination period of March 2023 took place with great success on Monday March 20th 2023, at Railways Amphitheatre.

The students which defended their theses are as follows:

 Kaselouris Konstantinos Eirinaios, Investigating the influence of mobile phone use on driving behavior with Machine Learning analysis of imbalanced data,  (Supervisor G. Yannis).
 Kattavenaki Katerina, Systematic review and Meta-analysis of the ticket price elasticity for air-travel demand,  (Supervisor G. Yannis).
 Lagonikakos Nikolaos, Analysis of seatbelt and helmet use characteristics in Greece,  (Supervisor G. Yannis).
 Makrydakis Konstantinos, Analysis of the acceptance and cost benefit analysis of reducing the speed limit to 80 km/h on the interurban road network in Greece,  (Supervisor G. Yannis).
 Blagidi Billa Konstantina Maria, Development of a continuous approximation model about the transition of coach buses of “KTEL ATTIKIS” to EVs, (Supervisor K. Kepaptsoglou).
 Papadopoulou Danai, Development of a methodology for estimating truck fuel consumption,  (Supervisor K. Gkiotsalitis).
