Júlia Alves Porto

Julia Porto is a PhD candidate at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since 2018, she holds a Civil Engineer Diploma from the University of Brasília (UnB), and since 2023 she holds a Master Degree Diploma in Transportation from the same University. In her Master’s research, she applied computer vision techniques to identify traffic conflicts and developed coding skills in Python and R. Additionally, in her latest employment, she contributed to the assessment of new rail transportation parameters used to supervise service quality in Brazil.
