Dr. Katerina Deliali is a Research Associate at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. Since 2016, she holds a Civil Engineering degree majoring in Transportation Engineering from the School of Civil Engineering at NTUA. In 2018 she received her Master of Science (MSc) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst); her MSc thesis is titled “Zero-emission transit bus and refueling technologies and deployment status: a review across the U.S. transit agencies”. In August 2020 she defended her Doctoral Dissertation at UMass Amherst, titled: “Assessing the impact of bicycle infrastructure treatments on bicycle safety: A multi-methods approach”. She has more than 4 years of experience in several aspects of transportation engineering mainly focusing on sustainable and non-motorized transportation and road safety.
