In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Imperial College London is offering 4 scholarships to students from Ghana, Greece, Malaysia and Mexico applying for postgraduate courses in Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine and Business subjects.
The scholarship programme offers financial support to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study at Imperial.
Candidates need to have been given an offer of admission by the 13th of March 2024.

Traffic sings restoration at NTUA Zografou Campus, August 2024
/in Latest News /by Maria KouakiDuring summer holidays, the restoration of the traffic signs of the central part of the road network of NTUA Zografou campus was completed.
A total of: 90 signs marking dangerous places, 125 regulatory signs and 3 convex mirrors were installed with galvanized metal poles. The traffic signs have been placed according to Road Design Guidelines Manual (OMOE-KSO, OMOE-K3) and the Highway code, based on a traffic study prepared and provided by the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering.

Running 30 Marathons in 30 months for 30km/h speed limit in all cities

Running with the emblem of the NTUA, Prometheus the Fire-bearer, he has already successfully completed 24 Marathons in 24 months, all performing sub 4-hours, and there are 6 remaining Marathons to complete his challenge in November 2024 at the Athens Marathon. /in Latest News /by Maria KouakiIn a recently published study conducted at Stanford University (USA), using a range of parameters for each scientist’s research contribution and influence, million scientists data from Scopus database were analysed. According to this study 971 Greek scientists are contained in the global top 2%, among which 130 researchers from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). 21 Professors from the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA are among the top 2% researchers in the world (5 within the top-ten of NTUA), while 6 of them from the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering, (5 within the top-eleven of the School of Civil Engineering).
