Professor Andreas Loizos, the Director of the Laboratory of Pavement Engineering is a co-chair of the conference: International Airfield and Highway Pavements Conference that will be held on July 21–24 2019 in Chicago Illinois which is supported by the Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) of ASCE.

The conference will bring together researchers in transportation and airport safety technologies, designers, project/construction managers, academics, and contractors from around the world to discuss the state-of-the-art implementation, construction, design, and research being performed.
